This guitar is not trying to reinvent the wheel: its a strat. The bodies I use have a unique natural fault that delivers distinction but does not affect the tone or playability of the instrument.
The guitar is brand new but has a slightly 'lived-in' look: not reliced but not new either. All the parts are top quality, CTS pots, CRL switch, Switchcraft socket, Russian mil. spec. PIO 0.047uf cap, Kluson Deluxe tuners, Schaller straplocks, D Allen 'Tru-62' pickups, Warmoth neck, Gotoh GE101TS bridge.
The body is stained (brown), not painted to let the tone through. The pickups are, perhaps, not as powerful as most modern single coils but they just ooze tone. If you want to know what an early 60s strat sounds like, play one with 'Tru-62's fitted.
If you want to try it out I can be contacted here or at stg_guitars@btinternet.com or on facebook.
I've indicated that I am prepared to accept offers but to be accepted they must cover the cost of the parts.
It appears I cannot upload photographs as they contain too much data. Please check the photos on my facebook page STG Guitars. This guitar is shown as STG No.6
Unfortunately this is a pickup only offer, I am not prepared to risk this guitar ending through the post.
